Future Home of Kentucky Agriculture Heritage Center

Mercer County will be the future home of a new
museum that will tell the story of agriculture’s contributions to the state.
The world-class facility, scheduled to open in 2010, will be approximately
300,000 square feet and display educational and interactive exhibits. Proposed
plans include a walking tour of historic agriculture, a meeting complex that
will seat 20-1000 people, plus a theater, video conference center, kitchen and
retail outlet for Kentucky products.
